• Apply a leather conditioner regularly to prevent drying and cracking.
• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

PU (Polyurethane) simulated leather is a synthetic material that mimics the appearance and texture of genuine leather. It’s an affordable and cruelty-free alternative to real leather.

Reclaimed wood is lumber that has been salvaged from old buildings, furniture, or other sources. It’s repurposed and given a new life in various products, contributing to sustainability and a rustic aesthetic.

Semi-permanent sticker vinyl is a type of adhesive material used for various applications. To care for it:

• Clean the surface before application to ensure proper adhesion.
• If it starts to lift, clean the area, and reapply pressure.
• You can also use a translucent spray to maintain or extend the application’s lifespan.

The main difference is the vinyl’s durability and longevity:

• 1-year vinyl is suitable for short-term applications and may start to degrade after a year. This is the most common cost effective vinyl we use on most of our products, except if we specifically mention that is more expensive and quality vinyl / if we are manufacturing outdoor signage.
• 5 to 7-year vinyl is more durable and designed to withstand outdoor exposure for several years without significant wear or fading. It is much more expensive due to its higher quality.

1. Hand Washing: While some of your products may be dishwasher safe, it’s advisable to hand wash most custom printed mugs and tumblers. Hand washing is gentler on the print and the overall quality of the item.

2. Use Mild Detergent: When hand washing, use a mild detergent or dish soap. Avoid abrasive or harsh cleaning agents, as they can damage the print or the surface of the mug or tumbler.

3. Gentle Cleaning: Use a soft sponge or cloth to clean the exterior and interior of the mug or tumbler. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or brushes that can scratch the surface or the print.

4. Avoid Soaking: Do not let the mug or tumbler soak in water for extended periods, as this can weaken the adhesive used for the print and affect the colors.

5. Dry Thoroughly: After washing, make sure to dry the mug or tumbler thoroughly, both inside and out, to prevent water spots and to maintain the appearance of the print.

6. Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Extreme temperatures, especially sudden changes from hot to cold or vice versa, can affect the integrity of the print. Avoid exposing the mug or tumbler to rapid temperature fluctuations.

7. Microwave Use: If your custom printed mug is microwave safe, use it with caution. Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat, as it can potentially affect the print. Use short heating intervals and stir the contents to distribute heat evenly.

8. Avoid Impact: Be gentle with your custom printed mug or tumbler. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to heavy impacts, as this can chip or crack the item and damage the print.

MDF stands for Medium-Density Fiberboard. It is an engineered wood product made from wood fibers, wax, and resin compressed together under high pressure and heat. MDF is widely used in our studio due to its affordability and versatility. It is known for its smooth and consistent surface, making it an ideal material for painting, veneering, and gift making!

Here are some tips on how to care for MDF wood:

1. Avoid Moisture: MDF is not moisture-resistant and can swell or warp when exposed to water or high humidity.

2. Dust Regularly: Dust MDF surfaces regularly with a soft, dry cloth or a microfiber cloth. This helps prevent the buildup of dirt and grime that can affect the appearance over time.

3. Clean Gently: When cleaning, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers, as they can damage the finish.

4. Protect from Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause MDF to fade or discolor. 

5. Repair Small Damage: If you notice minor scratches or dents, you can often repair them by filling them with wood filler or putty designed for MDF. Sand the repaired area smooth and repaint or refinish as needed.
